Roasted Eel
Roasted eel was very popular in some areas of Jagang Province along the Amnok River.
Its oily flesh with delicious taste is very palatable and good for health.
The flesh, dipped in peppered bean paste and seasonings, is roasted until it goes dark brown in colour.
In some areas fresh eels caught in the river were skewered and roasted.
It is especially good for weak children to make them less affected by summer heat.
