Ninth Day of the Ninth Lunar Month & Chrysanthemum Pancake
Koreans celebrated the ninth day of the ninth lunar calendar, when chrymsanthemums are in full bloom, as a folk holiday since the period of Three Kingdoms.
They prepared pancake, punch and liquor with chrysanthemum flowers and enjoyed the autumn-tinted scenery.

Chrysanthemum Pancake
It is made by kneading glutinous rice powder into a flat batter, frying it with chrysanthemum flower on it, and preserving it in honey.
